Alexander McQueen isn’t the easiest of collections to wear while pregnant due to the structured shapes of many of my personal favourites from the SS12 runway, but this dress that found its way to Net-A-Porter is the perfect answer to getting the drama of McQueen, without the restrictions of inner corseting!
ALEXANDER MCQUEEN DRESS AT NET-A-PORTER
Willing the warmer weather to return so I can debut this Balenciaga ensemble…the most dramatic change in my wardrobe (apart from the obvious sizing) is the introduction of colour! The bright tones and adventurous shapes are proving quite a shock to The Swede and those who see me most as my seasonal collections consist of black, bodycon pieces, with just the occasional dash of navy.

Super simple Acne look, perfect for my relaxed supper with friends…The sweater is unbelievably soft, while the elastic waistband on the leather skirt is utterly forgiving!

A private view this evening for one of my closest friends, artist Robert Fry, and as I have been feeling utterly exhausted all day (an insanely busy week shooting and the small person growing at great speed!) I need to feel dressed for the occasion, but certainly comfortable.
This loose Joseph sweater and silk Phillip Lim printed trousers are the ideal combination when teamed with my new Alaia peeptoes as they give the illusion of an evening look, but the feel of a super slouchy Sunday ensemble.

Whenever I have spoken to anybody who has been or knows someone who is pregnant and the subject turns to miracle creams, Mama Mio products are in the top 3 every time.
Since month 3 when my body started to visibly change, I have been using Boob Tube religiously as I was very happy with the way my boobs looked pre-pregnancy and would like them to stay that way post-pregnancy! From what I have heard and the reports that cannot recommend Boob Tube highly enough, I already know I am in safe hands…
The softly spoken, welcoming reception staff and tranquil white low-lit setting of the Agua Spa immediately ease any stresses you may have.
I experienced the Baby Bliss Ritual treatment and can honestly say this was the most relaxing treatment I have ever had, pregnant or not (this could have a lot to do with my therapist who was utterly charming and had an amazing technique).
From the warming water bed that cushioned my back to the heavenly rose scent from the products used, this was an experience that I must have again.
A full body scrub combined with gentle massage, followed by an envigarating shower and then a return to the water bed for a soothing, moisturising massage (including a very gentle stomach massage, which my baby woke up for and made himself known) was something my body had been in need of. I simply cannot recommend this spa treatment highly enough.
Crème de la Mer The Eye Balm Intense is certainly my wish list eye cream right now – its rich yet silky texture, to be applied with the silver-tipped applicator that stimulates micro-circulation, dramatically reduces the puffiness that has become all too common in the mornings during my pregnancy and leaves my eyes looking revitalized. One of those miracle products that actually lives up to the hype…
When a party starts at 10pm and it’s a great friends milestone, even the rationale of pregnancy exhaustion is not going to allow for non-attendance. Faced with the less than appealing prospect of leaving the house at 9.30pm (ordinarily the party would have been preceded by martini’s and not a thought of a 10pm start, but currently I need to sleep before venturing out past 9pm!) this loose, sexy, Lanvin dress teamed with my Givenchy leather jacket will allow for a few hours surrounded by London’s finest fashion insiders without feeling too far removed from my usual self (who would have donned a Balmain mini and a not given a thought of returning home until sunrise)…

Although it was hardly the weather to venture out with bare legs, I felt I had to break up the black a little! The most comfortable Rick Owens dress, teamed with a detailed Dries van Noten jacket and shoes by the designer I will be wearing most on my feet this summer, the divine Tabitha Simmons.

The Chelsea Day Spa locations are fast growing and you can see why – lovely local feel spaces and welcoming staff make this a wonderful destination for easing away pregnancy aches and pains. I have experienced two venues, but currently only the Hollywood Road location caters for expectant mothers. The pregnancy massage at the Chelsea Day Spa is a light, soothing treatment that was both relaxing and helped to ease my lower back pain without the usual intensity of a massage (force is certainly the last thing I would want as I am feeling so delicate, although I am longing for what used to be my regular deep tissue massage!) Certainly worth travelling for if you don’t live in the area as the standard of treatments is extremely high.
