NEW (EXCEPTIONAL) KID ON THE BLOCK – BOBOS JUICERY

Bobos

There has been a juice explosion in London! For a year or two there has been a steady stream of new cold pressed juice companies finally and thankfully opening in London – New York and LA, places I travel to often, have long been offering perfectly pressed goodness and we have certainly missed out in London
Some juice companies are more accomplished than others, they take themselves out of the standard juice concoctions and find a way to mix and muddle various ingredients to create truly delicious fresh nourishment – Bobos Juicery is certainly one of these companies
I spend my time tasting new creations from juice companies (through work or otherwise, I’m addicted) and Bobos is one company that just has something fresh (excuse the pun) about them, something unique that tells me they will be so much more than just a great looking, great tasting little operation in the very very near future…

I love Bobos not only for their juices, but also for their founder, Jo Symes – if you have the chance to meet her, do, her energy is just incredible and you can see just where her true passion for organic goodness comes from

CAUDALIE LAUNCHES NEW STORE & SPA IN LONDON

CAUDALIE

– With Bertrand Thomas, co-founder of Caudalie (unfortunately the exceptionally glamourous Mathilde Thomas, Bertrand’s wife and co-founder, is not in this image…) –

Last night I attended the launch of CAUDALIE’s first UK store and spa. Positioned on Covent Garden’s Monmouth Street, the store is the perfect representation of Caudalie, with a fresh feel and perfectly designed interior. I have used this brand for many years, clearing my favourite pharmacy in Paris of Caudalie products on every visit to Paris, so am obviously thrilled to have this wonderful French brand with us in London…

You really must read more about this beautiful, natural brand and it’s talented founders here…CAUDALIE

OUR EXQUISITE WEDDING INVITES – COURTESY OF PRANTL

PRANTL

We knew we would be working with the brilliant stationers that printed our birth announcement cards for when Astor was born, they made life incredibly easy when it came to our requirements for the birth announcements and the wedding invites proved even more fluid and simple

Prantl are a world renowned stationers with a family feel; not once did a call or email query go unanswered and they took me through each stage of the process with updates and assurances (due to our relatively late request to Prantl for our wedding invites, it has been a little tense with timings, but Prantl turned everything around in a week, unbelievable)

This evening shall see me writing out the addresses for all guests and finally sending the invites out tomorrow – now I shall have to hope that none of our guests respond with news that they already have plans for that date in March!

JOOLZ – THE STROLLER BRAND WITH A CONSCIENCE

Joolz1

– Astor and I with the Joolz Day in Studio Gris –

As the months have past and Astor has grown faster than I imagined possible, his needs have of course changed in so many ways and one of the main things I wanted to ensure for my growing boy was that he received the best support through these all important first years

Since Astor’s birth, I have experienced several strollers, which have been wonderful, but now I feel I have found the perfect model from a brand who has so much to give back in so many ways

Joolz not only creates perfect products, they are one of the leading brands for creating environmental awareness. Packaging is considered, forests are planted and they are continuously finding ways to protect the planet

Joolz2

Joolz is a company that was introduced to me in the summer. I have to admit that I hadn’t heard or seen much from the brand, although now that I am the very contented owner of one of their expertly designed strollers, I see Joolz models being used by so many other mummy’s (not to mention celebrities). I now know why Joolz is becoming the name to go to for every reason parents could think of when considering the perfect stroller

Comfortable, chic and incredibly designed for ease of use, I could not be more thrilled to have Joolz in my – and certainly Astor’s – life

MY LOVE FOR GIAMBATTISTA VALLI

Couture Spring 2013

I always knew I wanted to walk down the aisle wearing Giambattista Valli, I feel his designs are so very me, that I understand his collections and vision…

As my first ceremony shall be held at the Chelsea Town Hall in March, I felt a long wedding dress would be slightly inappropriate. Below are the dresses that made me love Giambattista and know he would be the most perfect person to turn to for an entirely unique, timeless wedding dress

MAISON MICHEL X SELFRIGES

A few months ago I filmed a series of shorts, one of which was a Maison Michel x Selfridges exclusive. The short featued a limited collection of hats that were only to be sold in the Oxford Street store.

Watching this back today, I feel I may need to consider a headpiece for my March ceremony…

PORTER LAUNCH …AND AN ADDICTIVE LITTLE APP

The brilliant Lucy Yeomans, someone I am very fortunate to count as a friend, has worked (and worked and worked) with the incredible Net-A-Porter team for this moment, the launch of PORTER magazine. Official launch date 07/02/2014

PV.PorterCover

Showing my support for the Porter team, made up of many friends who I have worked with over the past ten years, I created this Porter cover using the addictive #IAMPORTER app. You only need to type the hashtag into INSTAGRAM to see just how addictive it is.

Unfortunately for me, it would appear a little suspect if my #IAMPORTER cover were to be chosen as the recipient of £5000 to spend online at Net-A-Porter

#MYWEEKIN ATEA – THE PERFECT CAPSULE WARDROBE

As you will have seen from last weeks post, I chose to wear one designer for an entire week, it was the start of my #MyWeekIn series. This week I focused on the brilliant, classic and unquestionably chic label ATEA

atea.8

Cool, chic and wearable for day and night, this navy beautifully shaped dress is the perfect example of a wardrobe staple

atea.7

Ordinarily I wouldn’t have considered shorts and a sweatshirt for a meeting, but as it was an evening meeting and as at least one day last week wasn’t icy, I decided to step away from the tried and tested bodycon dress and heels and have not received such positive attention to a look in quite some time

atea.6

With all things wedding on my mind due to my March nuptials fast approaching, I am beginning to create a wardrobe for the warmer weather that awaits me during my honeymoon. Brilliant separates creating an elegant shape shall certainly be joining me on my trip, with thoughts of wearing these pieces again (and again) with different combinations when the UK summer is upon us
