J.Brand’s purest cashmere and finest supple leather for a day tied to my computer planning two June events. When wearing a look I feel confident in, even when no others can see the pieces, it sets the tone for my day; it’s all a matter of confidence (I am quite sure wearing sweats would feel wonderful, but equally sure this is not going to be happening anytime soon!)
Wearing head-to-toe J.Brand and cutting an exhausted figure after a long (long!) day
A fitting for an event this week, a lunch with the delightful designer behind the striking brand L’objet at the Dorchester Hotel, consultancy meeting and then a stop to view the dreamy Astley Clarke collections…quite a day
With a day like today, J.Brand’s super soft stretch denim, teamed with the most comfortable T-shirt and supple leather jacket were the perfect pieces to see me through four events in one day without leaving me wishing I could be in something less restrictive…
With a week ahead wearing one of my treasured labels each day for five days, how could I not have chosen to feature this incredible (incredible!) cropped black leather jacket and short shorts on day one?! I’m quite unsure of the reaction I shall receive due to the weather not being summer exactly, but my legs just couldn’t wait another day to don these perfect pinks…
Easter in the UK generally equates to a rather wet affair, given the weather, but it also equates to lots of fun for certain small people dressed in their new wellingtons and handsome new Mini-A-Ture raincoat!
I am quite unsure who was more excited about the fabulous little raincoat, although it was likely to be me as Astor just appreciated the fact that we were out walking in the torrential rain and he wasn’t under a raincover in his stroller being protected from the downpour this time!
Thanks to the clever and beautifully designed waterproof that ensured not a drop of rain reached Astor’s clothing underneath, I could hold my umbrella firm and have this gorgeous little person happily jumping in every puddle he could find without concern…
As part of my #MyWeekIn series, this week saw me swathed in the most luxurious cashmere from the ultimate collection in understated luxe, courtesy of Bamford…
Bamford luxury for a day of investor meetings – unreasonably flattering white trousers and perfectly cut, but easy to wear, side detail sweater. Shoes Nicholas Kirkwood
Fitness brand consultancy meeting, followed by press days to see the Fall 2014 collections – couldn’t think of a more perfect look. Shoes Charlotte Olympia
Working from home, emails, coffee with a magazine editor on Portobello Road – this beautiful, oversized cashmere sweater feels like a soft warm hug when wearing it. Leather leggings Joseph
Super chilled, super chic pants and tank, paired with the most luxurious, heavenly, enormous cashmere scarf known to man
– Alexandra and I in lululemon at the London store opening pre-dinner party –
My great friend and lifestyle brand consultancy partner Alexandra Meyers and I hosted a beautiful dinner to celebrate the launch of lululemon athletica’s fist UK store opening in Covent Garden
– lululemon CEO Laurent Potdevin’s captivating pre-dinner speech –
Our dinner was also to welcome the new Lululemon CEO, Laurent Potdevin, a brilliant, intelligent and personable man who was previously President of TOMS and before that CEO at Burton Snowboards.
– The exquisite table settings –
Among our guests at this intimate dinner were London’s leading fitness and wellness experts who made for such an interesting, inspiring evening of conversation
There was never a question of who I wanted to design our wedding flowers… Nikki Tibbles, the genius behind the most sought after florist, Wild At Heart, had been a dream of mine for everything floral for our wedding
I managed to book Nikki just as her spring schedule was almost full and from start to finish, I loved every moment of working with her personally and her professional, lovely team
Just two of the examples of such exquisite, perfectly designed flower arrangements that were within our wedding party at the Temperley London flagship store space on London’s Bruton Street

Our exquisite, divine, striking, perfectly designed and delicious to taste wedding cake from CAKE MAISON…
Emma Drew, the extreme talent behind Cake Maison’s breathtaking cakes was the most wonderful person to work with. Attention to detail was Emma’s forte, along with being the sweetest most considerate person through the entire journey of design, making and final presentation of the wedding cake
– The handmade sugar flowers that were placed on our wedding cake (and which I still have, untouched!) –
I work with the most skilled, brilliant creative minds in the world and Emma is one of the most genuine, talented people I have worked with – not to mention a exceptional cook with delicious recipes for perfect cakes!
Being with my husband ahead of the wedding party was my favourite part of the evening; of course the party itself was incredible (images to follow soon, my blog posts will be sporadic while I enjoy newly married life right now), but getting ready with him was the sweetest, most enjoyable part of the night as we had been married only a day and were on the most magnificent wedding high…
This is the second Giambattista Valli couture dress that I wore for my two-day wedding celebrations and as much as I loved the dress I wore on my actual wedding day, this dress for me was the most magical creation I had ever seen
